About us

We are BKB Africa. BKB Africa is a full-service campaigns agency. We develop campaigns for government, businesses and social organizations.

A campaign can be composed of various more or less self-contained components, such as a thorough research study or a focused campaign concept, an effective media strategy or a well-attended event.

BKB Africa advises on everything from business communication and internal change processes to image management. The agency also organises a range of trainings and can lead debates. We are strong in generating free publicity.

Together with our partner BKB in The Netherlands (whose three partners are also partners of BKB Africa) we have over 10 years of experience in campaigning and have access to a large international network of key decision-makers in government, international organisations, business, civil society and grass roots.

We can therefore mobilize the right people to develop or communicate an idea. This often leads to inspired and inspiring cross-overs, for example between culture and politics, sports and science, public and private. We always focus on themes that we can put our hearts in, themes with strong social relevance.

BKB Africa is your creative brains trust, helping you adapt to a changing world, thinking along with you and challenging set conventions and ideas. As the new kid on the block and with its roots in fertile South African soil, BKB Africa is a young and dynamic company, socially motivated, always thinking ahead and highly experienced in setting up comprehensive campaigns.Read more

These were just a few of the many issues highlighted at the Uthango Social Investments' Annual Workshops for civil society organisations on social media (Online Ambassadors and Digitial Nomads).Read more

Youth Media Movement in Mitchell's Plain is speaking up

An exciting new initiative has sprung up in Mitchell's Plain. The Youth Media Movement is educating South African youngsters (typically between 16-18) in the ways of the media, aiming to demystify media and have communities play a role in shaping public opinion.

A good mix of media and life skills is already having an enormous positive effect on the lives of these children, whose daily reality is one of drugs and violence. It is keeping kids off the street after school hours and during holidays and equipping them with skills to start up their own businesses.Read more
