BKB
BKB Africa is closely modeled on its successful precursor and partner in The Netherlands, Booij, Klusman and Van Bruggen. Or in short: BKB.
BKB was founded in 1999 by Lennart Booij, Alex Klusman and Erik van Bruggen. Since its establishment, BKB has developed into a dependable international campaigns agency, with around 20 employees. Among its clients are the European Commission, the Dutch Cabinet, several Ministries, provinces, cities, Shell, KLM, AEGON and many civil society organisations.
In 2000, the BKB Academy was set up to foster the talent of ambitious young people. And in 2001, Anker Solutions, BKB’s research arm, was founded.
BKB sponsors numerous social initiatives, but also takes the initiative itself. Together with Podium Publishers, BKB publishes a series called Time Documents. The series comprises books by writers, politicians and journalists striving for social change.
